Co-founded by IIT alumni, Graviton Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm operating across global financial markets. We were entrusted with delivering comprehensive interior design and complete office fit-out solutions for their corporate office at GIFT City. The vision was to create a high-performance, technology-enabled workspace tailored to the fast-paced and data-intensive nature of quantitative trading. The design approach focused on building a secure, efficient, and collaborative environment that reflects the firm’s precision-driven financial culture while supporting real-time trading operations and data-based decision-making.
The client brief emphasized the need for a cubicle-free, open office layout that would foster collaboration, transparency, and mentorship among researchers, portfolio managers, and technologists. To achieve this, we developed a circular workspace layout that enhances movement, connectivity, and team interaction. The elimination of rigid partitions ensures uninterrupted communication and seamless workflow, both of which are essential in a trading environment where timing and coordination are critical. At the same time, carefully planned meeting rooms and enclosed cabins provide spaces for focused discussions and strategic planning without disrupting the overall openness of the office.
A clean grey-and-white color palette defines the overall aesthetic, reinforcing a modern, minimalist, and professional atmosphere. Glass partitions were introduced to maintain visual continuity while offering acoustic privacy where required. Open gypsum ceilings contribute to a contemporary industrial appeal and allow easy access to technical infrastructure such as electrical and data systems. Lighting design was thoughtfully integrated to reduce glare and eye strain, ensuring comfort during extended trading hours. The overall ambiance reflects clarity, precision, and technological sophistication—qualities aligned with the firm’s operational philosophy.
Flexibility played a key role in the planning and execution of the workspace. Modular furniture solutions were implemented across workstations, cabins, and meeting rooms to allow easy reconfiguration as teams grow or operational needs evolve. Ergonomically designed workstations support long hours of analytical and trading activity, while collaborative zones encourage idea-sharing and dynamic discussions. The open layout not only improves visibility across teams but also nurtures a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the organization.
Beyond aesthetics and spatial planning, the project involved a comprehensive scope of work covering complete interior fit-out services. This included civil works, architectural interiors, modular furniture, plumbing and sanitary systems, firefighting systems, Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Public Address (PA) systems, CCTV surveillance, electrical installations, structured data cabling, and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Special attention was given to secure and high-speed data infrastructure to support trading operations that rely heavily on real-time analytics and connectivity. Integrated security systems ensure a safe and controlled working environment, safeguarding both personnel and sensitive financial data.
The completed office at GIFT City stands as a modern corporate workspace that seamlessly blends design excellence with technical precision. It is a future-ready financial operations hub designed to enhance productivity, collaboration, and operational efficiency. By combining intelligent space planning, minimalistic aesthetics, and robust infrastructure integration, the project delivers a workplace that fully supports the performance-driven culture of Graviton Research Capital while meeting global standards of corporate office design.
